Day 1
Day 1 - Arrival

Day 2
Day 2 - Tbilisi - City Tour
Narikala Fortress, Dzveli Tbilisi. Today we are going to discover one of the oldest and most remarkable cities in the world, Tbilisi, which is situated at the crossroads between East and West and comprises the colorful culture of the East and the sophistication of the West. Today we're going to explore the Old Town on foot and see the main sights, historic buildings with the most beautiful facades, neighborhoods with terraces, typical houses with carved balconies, narrow streets and beautiful and surprising examples of modern architecture. On the way to Narikala Fortress by cable car, the whole city will unfold before our eyes and we will enjoy an incredible view. Accommodation in Tbilisi.
Day 3
Day 3 - Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Tsinandali - Telavi
Today we're traveling to the Kakheti region, which is known for its remarkable hospitality, fertile fields, extensive vineyards and excellent wines. And of course, we'll taste the wines here and hear about the traditional methods of making them, which have existed for over 8,000 years. The Georgian method of wine production is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. First, let's visit the small town of Sighnaghi, which enchants visitors with its special charm. Here you can see old houses with typical Georgian balconies. Sighnaghi, with an incredible position on a high hill, faces the imposing snow-covered Caucasus in the distance, across the vast Alazani valley. Delicious lunch and wine tasting at the local winery. Visit the house-museum of Alexander Chavchavadze, the famous Georgian poet of the 19th century, with its beautiful garden. Accommodation in Telavi.
Day 4
Day 4 - Telavi - Alaverdi - Gombori Pass - Ananuri - Gudauri
In the morning, we will visit the Telavi farmers' market, where fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and fish are sold daily by the locals. Visiting this vibrant place offers a truly authentic experience. Visit the impressive Alaverdi Cathedral (11th century). Scenic walk through the Gombori Pass (1,620 m). Afterwards, we'll pass along the historic Georgian Military Road as we head towards the Greater Caucasus Mountains. The Georgian Military Road was described by the Roman geographer Strabo (1st century) in his works, and he characterized it as a road with the most beautiful landscapes. The combination of green fields, alpine meadows, sparkling rivers, high mountains and peaks truly creates a mystical atmosphere that will leave no one indifferent. On the way, we'll go sightseeing at the Ananuri Complex (17th century), which overlooks the Zhinvali Reservoir, and we'll see the carved façades of its main church, on which we can find special handicrafts: carved crosses, archangels, fictional creatures and trees of life. It is a unique example of Georgian ecclesiastical architecture. In the evening, we arrive at the Gudauri ski resort. Dinner and accommodation in Gudauri.
Day 5
Day 5 - Gudauri – Stepantsminda – Gudauri
In the morning, a winding road will take us to Stepantsminda via the Jvari Pass (2,395 m). From Stepantsminda, we will climb a steep trail through the forest, which will take us to one of the most beautiful cathedrals, the Trinity of Gergeti (2,170 m). From there, incredible views will unfold before your eyes and in good weather, you'll feel like you can touch the gigantic Kazbegi mountain (5,047 m), with its eternal blanket of white snow, with your hands. If we're lucky, we might spot birds of prey. Ascent and descent: 400 m, walking time: 3.5 hours.
Day 6
Day 6 - Gudauri – Gori – Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi
Trip to the Kartli region. The ancient Silk Road takes us to Uplistsikhe - the ancient city of caves carved into the rock (6th century BC), which was an important point on the famous Silk Road and one of the most important pagan religious centers in pre-Christian Georgia. Here we will find well-preserved and impressive ancient caves. In Gori, Stalin's birthplace, stop for photos at his museum. Return trip to Tbilisi and accommodation in Tbilisi.
Day 7
Day 7 - Tbilisi - Return
Tbilisi. Transfer to the airport and departure (transfer not included).
