Welcome to Copenhagen, Denmark's capital and most populous city. The transfer to the hotel is at your own expense (optional transfers can be booked at a supplement, see options). Check-in at the hotel will be available from 3pm. Visiting Copenhagen in December is a great choice, the city centre is decorated with various Christmas markets with stalls where you can buy food, hot drinks and Christmas decorations. Day 2
Copenhagen
Breakfast at the hotel. We will take a panoramic tour of the capital of Denmark, enjoying its ancient architecture, the district and port of Nyhavn. This 1,000-year-old city offers all that is expected of a modern metropolis: theatres, museums, restaurants, shops... Other points of interest include the Amalienborg Palace, the residence of Danish royalty, the Christianborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament, the National Museum of History and the Stock Exchange, among others. To finish our tour, I couldn't miss the iconic little mermaid. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the center and the Christmas markets in your own way. You will have an entrance to the famous Tivoli Gardens, which in this season are decorated with lights and offer an incomparable decoration and atmosphere. We recommend the best known and most shanty Christmas markets in Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv, and other more places like H.C. Andersen and Hojbro Plads. Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until the scheduled time, then transfer on foot to the station to catch the train to Stockholm. Transfers to the hotel and free time. One of the best ways to experience local culture and Christmas tradition is to visit the city during the weeks of Christmas Markets. You can visit some of these markets in and around Stockholm. Here, you can enjoy Swedish delights of the season, buy local handicrafts and decorations and enjoy the magical atmosphere of Christmas. Stockholm
Breakfast at the hotel. We will make a panoramic tour of the city with local guide, visiting the old city or "Gamla Stan" with its entanglements of small squares and streets of parallelepipedes, and we will see the exterior of the Royal Palace, Cathedral and Parliament. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the center and the Christmas markets in your own way. You will have an entrance to the famous Skansen Park, an outdoor museum that shows Swedish traditions and at this time has a historic Christmas market dating back to 1903. In the afternoon, transfer from Skansen to the hotel or, if you prefer, you can stay in the centre enjoying the festive atmosphere with impressive display cases, ice tracks and tents.
