Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Tanzania - Arusha
Arrival Day! You'll land at the airport and, weather permitting, you'll be able to see Kilimanjaro - Africa's highest mountain - in the distance. You'll travel about 45 km to the hotel where you'll spend the night. This day will be just to rest from the trip, get to know the city a little and prepare your mind for the great adventure that will begin the following day.
Day 2
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After a lovely breakfast, we'll set off for Tarangire Park. On the way, we'll stop to buy some last-minute snacks, so now's the time to stock up on those cookies you just can't give up! We arrive in Tarangire and go on our first game drive (safari). It will be in the middle of this park, surrounded by nature, that we will have a nice picnic lunch together with other groups of different nationalities. Tarangire is known for its huge elephant population, as well as its imbondeiros. It has around 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and around 3,300 zebras. In addition to all the other wild animals you can spot (lions, leopards, giraffes...). After the safari, we'll have a group dinner waiting for us. Enjoy this meal and rest up for the next big day!
Day 3
Serengeti
After breakfast, we set off for one of Africa's best-known and most coveted parks - the Serengeti. On the way, we will pass through the Ngorongoro reserve and the likelihood of seeing the crater is quite high. We'll keep an eye out for the dense green jungle, in the hope of being presented with some wild animal. We'll go on our safari after lunch, already inside the Serengeti, but always keep your eyes open, as there may be several surprises along the way!
Day 4
All day Safari in Serengeti
On this day, we will have the pleasure of watching the sunrise. Our safari will start very early in the morning and we will try to find the Big 5 at the beginning of the day. It's a day that promises plenty of animal watching and breathtaking landscapes. On this day, you can choose to take a hot air balloon ride! Believe! It will be an experience that will stay in your heart forever!
Day 5
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Once again, we'll be waking up very early to follow the start of the animals' day. We'll still have a few hours of the day to see some species and break new ground in the Serengeti, but we'll have to hit the road in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater! Did you know that Ngorongoro is nothing more or less than the crater of a volcano that died out thousands of years ago? We will arrive and spend the night near the crater. It will be here, in the middle of nature, that we will have our dinner.
Day 6
Cratera Ngorongoro - Arusha
After an early breakfast, we began our descent into the crater. It will be a mixture of emotions to set foot on what was once a volcano and is now home to thousands of different species. Here, we'll have the experience of a lifetime, as we feel what it's like to be in a crater surrounded by the local vegetation and with a considerable population of wild animals. After a visit of a few hours, we will return to Arusha where we will spend the night and where we can absorb all the experience of the last few days.
Day 7
Arusha - Stone Town (Zanzibar)
And we've reached the day of our journey to paradise. By now, you're probably in awe of the dream trip you've had so far! Today you'll reach the island that also looks like it came out of a dream! It will be a thrill to see the colors of the water in shades of blue. This day will be mainly for resting and the next day we'll start the great adventure around the island.
Day 8
Stone Town – Spice Farm e Prison Island
Walking day! We will visit Stone Town, the spice farm and Prison Island. On this small island, you'll have the chance to feed giant, centuries-old turtles. They were a gift from the president of the Seychelles and have lived on that small island ever since.
Day 9
Nungwi Beach
Today we will drive about 60 km to find one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. In Nungwi, the tides are not so variable and aggressive, so you can literally spend all day in the turquoise blue waters! Here, you can also take a ride in a transparent kayak and see the seabed from another perspective! We'll spend the day relaxing and enjoying the beach!
Day 10
Safari Blue
You'll spend the whole day at sea! Get ready, it's going to be incredible. We'll make several stops along the way, so you can swim, jump, snorkel, see the little fish and other sea species. At lunchtime, we'll have a feast full of goodies that you can enjoy to the sound of music. Here, you'll have other groups, so you'll be able to exchange experiences and meet even more people. At the end of the day, we'll head back to the hotel where we can relax and unwind from a busy day!
Day 11
Nungwi Beach
The activities are great, but the truth is that we also need a bit of rest. This will be a completely free day. Wake up at the time you want and relax on the beach, by the pool or wherever you prefer! There are also a number of activities you can do, you can talk to us in advance if you think resting all day isn't for you and you want to book some additional activities now!
Day 12
The Rock and Blue Lagoon
Day to go to sea again! Another snorkeling session to see one of the largest coral reefs around and an area full of starfish! Get ready for a dream trip! At the end of the day, we'll rest and have dinner together!
Day 13
Nungwi Beach - Return
Back home day! We'll go to the airport to catch the plane and it will be a moment to reflect on the whole incredible trip. The desire to book the next one is already there! What's your next destination?
