Day 1
Arrival in Agra
The excursion to the Golden Triangle with Varanasi will start in India's capital, Delhi. On arrival at Delhi's international/domestic airport, the group will be met by our partners and leader and transferred to the hotel. Relax in the hotel for the rest of the day. Accommodation in Delhi.
Day 2
Delhi - Jaipur
We start the day with breakfast and prepare to explore Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Rajghat, Jantar Mantar, President's House, India Gate, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. Later, we'll drive to the pink city of Jaipur. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Accommodation in Jaipur.
Day 3
Full-day city tour of Jaipur
After breakfast, a visit to Amber Fort, built in the 16th century, and an elephant ride at Amer Fort. Visit the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds, and the Jal Mahal (Palace of Water). In the afternoon, we visited the palace and the city museum. Also visit the Jantar Mantar observatory. In the evening, a visit to the elephant village (if the group wishes), the local markets and bazaar, and learning about traditional block printing in Jaipur. Accommodation in Jaipur.
Day 4
Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agrta
Breakfast and journey to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri, also called the ghost town, about 40 kilometres from Agra. On arrival, check-in at the hotel in Agra. Later, we learn about Indian cuisine in Agra and visit Agra's local markets or relax in a hotel. Accommodation in Agra.
Day 5
Agra - Varanasi (Night train)
We wake up early and get ready to explore the beauty of the Taj Mahal, followed by a carriage ride. Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by a visit to Agra Fort, Itmad - Ud - Daulah (Baby Taj). We also enjoyed a demonstration of Inlay work (Pietra dura), a unique art. In the evening, we board the train to Varanasi, enjoying a night on the train (Sleeper class with air conditioning).
Day 6
Arrival in Varanasi - Tour of Varanasi
On arrival in Varanasi, a transfer will be waiting for us at Varanasi railway station. Transfer to the hotel. Varanasi is one of India's holy cities. It is also the most famous pilgrimage site in the Hindu religion. Later, visit the Banaras Hindu University and the Aurangzeb mosque. In the evening, visit the Ghats of Varanasi to attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony. Return to the hotel. Accommodation in Varanasi.
Day 7
Tour in Varanasi
Early in the morning, travel to Ganges ghat to enjoy a boat trip on the sacred Ganga River at sunrise, where we can see Hindus taking a sacred bath in the Ganges River. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, we travelled to visit Sarnath. Sarnath is a popular Buddhist site. Return to Varanasi and visit Dashashwamedh Ghat, Bharat Mata Mandir, etc. Accommodation in Varanasi.
Day 8
Varanasi - Delhi
After breakfast, free time to enjoy the local area of Varanasi. Later, transfer to Varanasi railway station, where we will leave for Delhi (about 8 hours' journey). Arrival, transfer from the railway station to the hotel. Accommodation in Delhi. (Today we will enjoy India's fastest train "Vande Bharat Express" in the AC chair car)

What kind of accommodation am I staying in on this trip?
On this trip we will be staying in 4* hotels. We use twin or double rooms (on request) If you want a single room, you will have to pay a supplement 545€.
Does Triskelion Expeditions handle the flights?
Yes, although we don’t include the cost of flights in the trip, we can also take care of them if you wish. All you have to do is tell us when you book. We send you a quote with the price of the flights at the time and then you decide whether to buy with Triskelion, on your own or with another agency.
Are arrival and departure transfers included?
That’s right, transfers are included in the price of the trip. There is one flight on the trip that is recommended for the group to arrive at the same time, so transfers are available according to the arrival time of this flight. If you opt for flights with a different arrival time, these are no longer included (in which case there is no refund of the transfer fee).
Where do I meet the leader?
The meeting with the leader takes place at the destination airport.
If I enrol alone, do I have to pay an individual supplement?
It is not compulsory, as we will group together those who sign up for a double room with a twin bed (where possible), by sex and order of registration, travellers who sign up for the trip alone. If the number of travellers is odd, the participant who is left alone will have to pay the respective single supplement. If you want to stay in a single room, then you will have to pay the single supplement.
What documentation do I need to make this journey?
The documentation for this trip is a passport valid for at least 6 months after the end date of the trip and also a visa to enter India, which can be obtained online and costs around 80$, and can be purchased at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html.
Can I arrive before and leave after the group?
Yes, if you want to arrive in Delhi before the group and leave after the end of the group trip, you can. In that case, if you wish, we can book the accommodation for you, or you can choose to buy it without Triskelion Expeditions.
How are meals not included?
Meals that are not included can be taken as a group, in places recommended by the leader or local guides, or you can prefer to eat somewhere else that suits you better, with other people or on your own.
How can I pay for this trip?
A minimum payment of 35% of the cost of the trip is required to confirm the booking. The remaining amount must be paid at least 45 days before the start date of the trip. The remaining value of the trip can be paid in instalments up to 45 days before the beginning of the trip. There is no refund of the amount paid at the time of booking, after confirmation of the trip.
Can I cancel the trip?
You can cancel your trip up until the day we confirm it by email. If you want to cancel the trip after it has been confirmed, you will incur costs that we have already paid for services to be used on the trip.
