Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Yaounde
Today we arrive in Yaounde - the capital of Cameroon. It's been a long journey, and we'll have a transfer to take us from the airport to the hotel, where we'll socialise, get to know more about the group we'll be spending the next few days with and relax We'll have dinner as a group and prepare for the next day's adventure.
Day 2
Yaounde - Ayos - Abong Bang - Lomie
After breakfast, we set off for a day of travelling, where we can already see the beautiful landscapes of this country. It will be today that we reach the Equatorial forest where we will meet the pygmies. Tonight we'll stay overnight and have dinner in a missionary shelter! It will definitely be a different experience!
Day 3
Lomie - Pygmee camp
Today will be a day of great immersion. After breakfast, we'll head to the Pygmy camp, where we'll spend the day learning about their customs, understanding how they live and how they deal with everyday situations, and where we'll have our meals and spend the night. We'll have tents where we'll spend the night and it will be a super immersive experience with the sounds of nature!
Day 4
Pygmee camp
Another immersive day in the Pygmy camp. Today we're going to pick berries and fruit in the forest, go fishing and collect plants with medicinal properties. It will be an experience we will never forget. Once again, meals will be taken at the campsite and we'll once again sleep in the middle of nature!
Day 5
Pygmee Camp - Lomie - Yokadouma
Day to leave camp early after breakfast. We'll continue on to Lomie and Yokadouma, where along the way we'll marvel at the unique landscapes of this place. When we arrive at the Natural Park, we'll spend the night again in a shelter, but this time run by nuns. It will once again be a very different experience.
Day 6
Youkadouma - Mambele - Ndandaye Bai
We'll leave the shelter early, with breakfast already taken. Today is another special day, we're going to Lobéké Nature Park! Here you'll find salt pans where dozens of animals that live in the forests gather, such as gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants and other species. We'll sleep in a campsite in the middle of nature!
Day 7
Forest exploration day
Have breakfast and get ready for days full of adventure and discovery. We'll go animal trekking. This time we'll go on foot and our friends, the pimu, will help us find whatever we want to see. Let's learn how the animals live in this forest, what their habits are and how they interact with human life. It's going to be intense! Will you have the courage for this great adventure?
Day 8
Forest exploration day
Today we continue to explore the forest, following on from the previous day.
Day 9
Lobeke - Yokadouma
By now you should feel completely immersed in the forest! It's an immersion and a sensation you'll never forget! Today, we leave the forest and start travelling to other local and traditional villages, where we stop and come into contact with another reality. We'll sleep in yet another Catholic shelter tonight after a group dinner where we'll share the emotions of the adventure we're on!
Day 10
Yokadouma - Batouri - Bertoua
We'll continue on our way to the capital, but it won't be today that we arrive. Enjoy the landscapes and all the unexpected encounters with the wild animals that cross our path! We'll continue to come across various pygmy villages along the road and we'll stop at some whenever we want. We'll have a hotel waiting for us tonight where we'll rest after dinner.
Day 11
Bertoua - Yaounde
We're sure you're tired, so we've booked you a hotel in the capital so you can rest until your flight home. They were intense but unforgettable days! By now, you'll be thinking about your next destination!

What kind of accommodation am I staying in on this trip?
The accommodation on this trip is hotels and campsites (Tents)
We use twin or double rooms (on request).
If you want a single room, you will have to pay a supplement.
Does Triskelion Expeditions handle the flights?
Yes, although we don’t include the cost of flights in the trip, we can also take care of them if you wish. All you have to do is tell us when you book.
We send you a quote with the price of the flights at the time and then you decide whether to buy with Triskelion, on your own or with another agency.
Are arrival and departure transfers included?
That’s right, transfers are included in the price of the trip.
There is one flight on the trip that is recommended for the group to arrive at the same time, so transfers are available according to the arrival time of this flight. If you opt for flights with a different arrival time, these are no longer included (in which case there is no refund of the transfer fee).
Where do I meet the leader?
The meeting with the leader takes place at the destination airport.
If I enrol alone, do I have to pay an individual supplement?
It is not compulsory, as we will group together those who sign up for a double room with a twin bed (where possible), by sex and order of registration, travellers who sign up for the trip alone. If the number of travellers is odd, the participant who is left alone will have to pay the respective single supplement.
If you want to stay in a single room, then you will have to pay the single supplement.
What documentation do I need to make this journey?
For this trip you will need to carry a passport valid for at least six months after the date of departure from the country.
A visa is required to enter Cameroon (155€)
Can I arrive before and leave after the group?

In that case, if you wish, we can book the accommodation for you, or you can choose to buy it without Triskelion Expeditions.
How are meals not included?
Meals that are not included can be taken as a group, in places recommended by the leader or local guides, or you can prefer to eat somewhere else that suits you better, with other people or on your own.
How can I pay for this trip?
A minimum payment of 35 per cent of the cost of the trip is required to confirm the booking.
The remaining amount must be paid at least 45 days before the start date of the trip.
The remaining value of the trip can be paid in instalments up to 45 days before the beginning of the trip.
There is no refund of the amount paid at the time of booking, after confirmation of the trip.
Can I cancel the trip?
You can cancel your trip up until the day we confirm it by email.
If you want to cancel the trip after it has been confirmed, you will incur costs that we have already paid for services to be used on the trip.
