Come with Triskelion Expeditions and its trip leader Adriana de Carvalho to discover South Africa.
This trip will focus on the beautiful region that is Cape Town, a city facing the sea and with plenty of beauty to marvel at.
During this trip, we will not only get to know Cape Town, but also have the opportunity to explore other parts of the region as well as some typical Cape Town neighbourhoods and learn about the differences between them.
We will visit such well-known and beautiful places as Muizenberg, Simon’s Town, Cape point, Table View, the small town of Franschhoek in the Western Cape wine region, which we will explore and taste their wines.
While in South Africa we will enjoy a safari and get to know the beautiful wildlife of the region.
It will be an 11-day adventure that you can’t miss and where you will get to know a little more about life in South Africa.
Our trip through South Africa begins.
On arrival at Cape Town airport, our travel leader will be waiting for you, with the driver to take the group to the hotel and check in.
Depending on the time of arrival, there will still be time for a tour of the city and for the group to get to know each other.
Day two of our trip, and after having breakfast, we set off for the first visit of our trip.
We started the day knowing Table Mountain, being this one of the 7 wonders of the world, we could not miss it, and enjoy the view from the top of the mountain which is wonderful.
After Table Mountain, we set off for Waterfront, one of the most beautiful places in Cape Town, facing the sea and with a beautiful view of Table Mountain.
At Waterfront, the leader will leave time for free lunch for the group, and also for each traveller to enjoy their free time shopping, or visiting the area.
One of the visits we recommend is taking the boat trip to Robben Island.
At the end of the day, we returned to the hotel
After breakfast, departure for a tour of Cape Town.
After visiting Cape Town’s city centre, we will depart for Muizenberg, passing through a few townships.
In Muizenberg we can appreciate its colourful houses by the sea. Here we have free time to enjoy the area.
After Muizenberg, we continue to Camps Bay, passing through mountains and breathtaking views.
At the end of the day we return to Cape Town
After breakfast, we will visit the charming village of Simon’s Town.
After visiting Simon’s Town, we will visit Cape Point, the famous Western Cape nature park (Cape of Good Hope), the southernmost point on the African continent.
During the day we will also visit other places such as Kommetjie and Scarborough and Table View.
To finish the day we will visit the Gran West Casino, where there are several restaurants and ice skating rink.
At the end of the day we return to Cape Town
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel, and set off towards Franschhoek a charming little town in the Western Cape wine region.
During the day we will have the opportunity to visit a winery and do some wine tasting, thus tasting the delicious South African wines.

Today is Safari day, and so after breakfast we will set off towards Aquila Safari, where we will spend the whole day and go on safari, being able to appreciate how the wildlife of the area is and see the powerful animals such as lions and other more wild animals.

After breakfast we depart for Stellenbosch the most famous wine region of the Western Cape.
Besides the wineries, the town is very special, it has a small centre and several attractions.
We will spend the day in this region where we also have lunch and can learn more about its history and traditions.

Today the tour takes us to Hermanus, but only after a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
On the way to Hermanus, we passed Gordon’s Bay, a beach with super vibrant energy and unmissable views.
Once we arrive in Hermanus, we will spend the rest of the day there, visiting its small centre, its privileged spots to see the ocean and perhaps do some walking.
At the end of the day we return to Cape Town
First we had breakfast, then we set off to discover.
Today we will visit some neighbourhoods in the southern suburbs and the differences between them. Don’t worry, walking around here is safe.
Besides visiting these neighbourhoods, we will also have a lot of contact with the local communities to understand their way of life.
Also during the day we will have the opportunity to visit the botanical garden and the Rhodes Memorial.
At the end of the day, we will have a farewell dinner at the Waterfront
After breakfast, we left for the last day of tours.
We set off towards Die Strandloper – Langebaan for a super typical lunch, with bread ovens by the sea and many other activities done by the locals.
At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Cape Town.
After breakfast, we will spend the day in Cape Town until flight time.
Our Tour Leader will stay with the group until departure time to the airport.

The immigration and border services require the presentation of an electronic passport valid for six months before the date of entry into the country, and with at least two free pages.

The traveller chooses at the time of booking whether to pay for the whole trip or 30%.
The remaining amount must be paid at least 45 days before the travel start date.
The remaining 70% of the value of the trip can be paid in instalments up to 60 days before the beginning of the trip.
