On arrival at Manas airport early in the morning, we will be met by a responsible person who will take us to Bishkek. Here we will meet our hotel, where we will stay overnight. We'll have breakfast and continue our journey to the Ala Archa Nature Park, located in the picturesque gorge of the same name, about 40 kilometres from the city of Bishkek. In the park's territory, you can walk through the Ak Sai gorge (a side gorge of the larger Ala Archa gorge) to enjoy views of the magnificent peaks of the Alatau Kirghiz mountain range (Tien Shan Mountains). If you don't fancy a long walk, you can take a stroll along the river in the main gorge of Ala Archa. We'll have lunch in a local café and continue our afternoon with a city tour of Bishkek: we'll visit Ala Too Central Square, the White House, the Parliament, the Lenin Statue and Oak Park. We'll also visit a local museum and the Osh market We'll return to the hotel after this incredible tour and take the opportunity to rest.

Day 2

Chon Kemín Valley

After breakfast, we set off from Bishkek and continue along the Chui Valley. On the way, we visited the Burana Tower, near the town of Tokmok. On the way, we visited the Burana Tower, near the town of Tokmok. The Burana Tower is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 11th century in a territory called Balasagun, it was an important trading point during the Silk Road. In this archaeological complex, located 80km from Bishkek, you can visit the Burana Tower, a collection of Balbals (handmade statues) and a small museum with items found during excavations. We will have the honour of having lunch at the home of a local family, taking the opportunity to try some of the local cuisine. After lunch, we head to the Chon Kemin valley. Today's accommodation will be in a guesthouse. We'll have some time before dinner to take a sleigh ride through the Chon Kemin Valley, an experience that will last a lifetime! Until dinner, we'll have some free time and we'll make good use of it. First, we'll take a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Chon Kemin valley. If you have some time, you can walk around the village and climb up to the spot with the panoramic view. Those who don't want to can stay and relax.

Day 3

Lake Issyk Kul

After breakfast, we headed along the northern shore of Lake Issyk Kul, passing through the Boom Gorge. Lake Issyk-Kul is the second largest alpine lake in the world after Titicaca in South America. It is 182 kilometres long and 58 kilometres wide, receives heat from the lake bed and never freezes, even during the harshest winters. Extremely deep but with warm waters, this lake has been a kind of oasis in the inhospitable mountain environment. With a vast diversity of flora and fauna in the surrounding areas, Issyk Kul is considered one of the most remarkable places in Central Asia. We continue on to the town of Cholpon Ata and today lunch will be free and up to everyone's taste. This day, after lunch, we'll visit the open-air Petroglyph Site with panoramic views of Issyk Kul Lake and the snow-capped mountains and the Cholpon Ata History Museum. We'll rest for the rest of the afternoon and have dinner at our hotel on the shores of Lake Issyk Kul.

Day 4

Valle Karkará

After breakfast, we headed along the northern shore of Lake Issyk Kul to see a beautiful area on the border with Kazakhstan - the Karkara Valley. It is located on the eastern side of Lake Issyk Kul, right along the border with Kazakhstan. It is a trekking and mountaineering centre. *To enter the Karkara area, you need to obtain a border permit, which takes about 2 to 3 weeks, so if you want to, you should inform us in advance.) Our vehicle will follow the mountain road through snowy hills to the Karkara region. Here we stay in a luxurious yurt camp with a private bathroom. We'll spend the rest of the day resting and contemplating the place, or doing some of the local activities. Talk to us for details!

Day 5

Karakol and Djety Oguz's Throat

Karakol and Djety Oguz's Throat After breakfast, we continue our journey to Karakol, a town situated to the east of the lake, at the foot of the most picturesque mountains of the Tien Shan. This sleepy but interesting old Russian town was built by Cossacks in the mid-19th century and became an important settlement that grew up around a military garrison. On the way, we'll visit the Museum of N. M. Przhevalsky, the eminent Russian explorer of the Asian continent. On arrival in Karakol, we will visit the Dungana Mosque, a unique Chinese-style building used for Muslim worship. We'll also see an old Russian Orthodox church - "The Holy Trinity Cathedral" made of wood without a single nail. We'll have lunch at a local restaurant on this day to enjoy the flavours of the land once again. After lunch, we'll head to the Djety Oguz gorge to admire the landscape and take some photos. At the entrance to the gorge, you can see the famous "Split Heart" rock. Climb a little further to the panoramic viewpoint to see the "Seven Bulls" rocks with white colours all around. Return to Karakol in the afternoon and hotel to rest up for a dinner with a local Dungan family. The Dungans are a Chinese minority who fled to Central Asia in the mid-19th century. Travelling through the mountains, the Dungans began to spread their culture and mix with the locals, creating new traditions in architecture, cuisine and lifestyle in general. Demonstration of the preparation of a traditional dish - lagman, which is a very popular and appreciated food in Central Asia. A Dungana lady will show us how to make this extra-long spaghetti the traditional way. You can try making your own lagman - it's almost like a local gastronomy workshop! It's quite tricky and you might not get it right, but the fun is guaranteed! After the activity, you can try the homemade lagman - it's delicious!

Day 6

Bokonbaevo

In the morning, we head to the Karakol ski base to take the funicular railway to a spot with a spectacular view of the Tup valley at 3000 metres above sea level. We'll be at the ski resort for 3 hours, so if you want to hire equipment to do a bit of this sport, you'll have some time. Lunch will be at a restaurant in the town of Karakol and we continue our journey along the south bank of the Issyk Kul to the village of Bokonbaevo. Here we'll meet a local eagle hunter. We'll watch a surprise show and at the end of the demonstration, the hunter will talk to you about the characteristics and particularities of falconry and the birds used - a special moment for photos and the chance to hold the bird in your forearms! This demonstration during the winter has a unique charm because the birds are in their best shape for the hunting season and feel great about it. After the demonstration, we'll go to the place where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7

Bishkek

After breakfast, we continue our journey. We'll visit a local women's co-operative where felt and carpets are produced in the traditional way. Carpets are essential in any Kyrgyz home. Not only do they protect you from the cold, but they're also very important for decorating - don't miss the opportunity to try your hand at making rugs! After the demonstration, you can visit the popular atesania shop, where you can buy something made in the co-operative itself. We return to Bishkek via Kuvaky to enjoy a spectacular view of the frozen Orto Tokoi dam, undoubtedly a highlight of this trip. Lunch will be free and when we arrive in Bishkek we will go to the hotel to rest. The trip is coming to an end, but we still have one activity left - dinner at a local restaurant with a folklore show.

Day 8

Returning home

Return Home day! We'll have our flight at dawn. Remember to exchange contacts with the group and share experiences! By now, you'll be thinking about your next trip!
