At Triskelion Expeditions, we take great pride in helping to meet some of the SDGS (Sustainable Development Goals).
Sustainable Development) proposed by the United Nations in the 2030 agenda and to be able to support causes that improve the environment and reduce the footprint we leave on our planet and also support social causes and thus help those who need it most.
With this, we help various projects so that we can reduce the ecological footprint left by the trips we make, help those who need it most, and defend animal life.
We want our travelers, to feel that they are part of the solution and help all these causes.
In order for us to practice a more sustainable tourism, we work with operators, who also work in this area, so that we can provide our travelers with more sustainable trips.
In order to make our trips more sustainable, we offset the CO2 footprint, produced on each trip, at no cost to the traveler.
As well as offsetting the CO2 footprint of each trip, we also plant 5 trees for every traveller who travels with Triskelion Expeditions, regardless of destination or style of travel.
To be able to help both environmental and social causes, we have partners with whom we work so that we can reach out to more projects.
This way you can get to know the associations we work with and help directly if that is your intention.
There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that represent an urgent call to action from all countries – developed and developing – for a global partnership.
Thus, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was created in 2015, adopted by all member states of the United Nations, which defines the priorities and aspirations of global sustainable development for 2030 and seeks to mobilize global efforts around a set of common goals and targets.
At Triskelion Expeditions, we have decided to embrace 5 of the 17 SDGs, but with the goal of being able to embrace even more SDGs in the future and thus have a greater impact on achieving them.
You can check below which SDGs we at Triskelion Expeditions support
In order for us to help fulfill this first SDGs, we joined the AMI, so that we can give our support in the fight against poverty in Portugal and this way, for each traveler who travels with Triskelion, whether through Triskelion Adventures, Triskelion Travel Packages or Triskelion accommodations, we donate 10 AMI can apply in two of its programs, which are:

This is the third SDG that we at Triskelion Expeditions are committed to supporting, and to do so, we work in partnership with AMIIn this way we can help directly on the ground by supporting and seeing how these missions develop.
You can find AMI’s missions around the world on its Mission Map.
It is very important for Triskelion Expeditions to be able to support that more children and adolescents around the world have access to a better and more equitable education.
In order to help in this goal, we work in partnership with the Ecuadorian organization FAP Ecuador, where it is possible to sponsor a child, support a project so that Ecuadorian teenage mothers can continue their studies, and also do volunteer work in a community and directly help those who need it most.
At Triskelion Expeditions, it is very important to be able to reduce the footprint we leave with our travels and take care of our planet.
In order to help in this regard, we have created the Triskelion Forest, where through the Tree Nation Program, we plant 5 trees for every traveler who travels with any of the 3 Triskelion sub-agencies, thus helping to reduce the impact we leave with our travels.
In addition to these 5 trees that we plant, we also offset the CO2 emitted by the trip in question, so at no cost to our traveler, we offset the CO2 produced by the flights used by the same, directing this help to reforestation and conservation of forests around the world, choosing for each trip, a project to which we send the compensation, and whenever possible, we help projects related to the destination of the trip of our traveler.
